“Warm Hearts Warming Homes” – 21st Annual Heat For The Needy Charity Event

TUDI Mechanical Systems and Dollar Bank will provide and install 14 free furnaces to Pittsburgh area families on Saturday January 18th as part of their annual Heat For The Needy charity program. Each winter, there are families across the Pittsburgh region that have no heat or are living in unsafe conditions due to failed or outdated heating systems.  The Heat For The Needy program, described as a “One Day Miracle”, combines the time and talents of employees and their families as they deliver and install new furnaces in the homes of those needy families, all in a single day, and at no cost to the recipients.

Tudi Mechanical Named One of Pittsburgh’s Top Workplaces for 9 Years Running

We are happy to share that Tudi Mechanical Systems has once again been named one of Pittsburgh’s Top Workplaces for 2019! The Pittsburgh Post Gazette recognized 90 companies as top workplaces in Pittsburgh, including 55 companies in our size category.  The results were based solely on direct feedback via an employee engagement survey conducted earlier in the year.   This is the 9th year in a row that Tudi Mechanical has received this honor!   This acknowledgment is a testament to the unique culture and values we have built here at Tudi, and a direct result of the hard work and commitment that our team puts in every day.   Thank you to our employees for making Tudi such a great place to work.

Tudi Mechanical Once Again Named One of Pittsburgh’s Top Workplaces

We are excited to announce that Tudi Mechanical has been named one of Pittsburgh’s Top Workplaces for 2018! This is the 8th consecutive year that we have achieved this award, and we are one of only a handful of companies of all sizes to have received this award every year since its inception in 2011. This year, the Pittsburgh Post Gazette recognized 94 companies as top workplaces in Pittsburgh, including 50 companies in our size category (less than 150 employees locally). We were the only HVAC contractor to be recognized, and the results are based solely on the feedback of our employee based in a survey that was administered earlier this year. This award is a recognition for all of the hard work and commitment that each and every one of our employees put in everyday, and it is their efforts that make Tudi such a great place to work!

Advantages Of Thermoelectric Systems In Heating And Cooling

Thermoelectric systems are based on the scientific phenomena called the Peltier Effect. According to this phenomenon a temperature gradient is set up when an electric current is passed through the junctions of two conductors. Due to this effect heat is deposited in one junction and cooling occurs in the other junction. Thermoelectric systems are mainly used in cooling devices but it also finds application in heating devices. In both cases DC voltage is necessary.

Tudi Mechanical selected as the 2015 Tampa Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year

Tampa, FL – The best of the best in Tampa now includes Tudi Mechanical Systems, according to the Greater Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, which awarded the team its “Small Business of the Year” accreditation for 2015. “We are honored by this recognition and intend to continue on our path to be the best service organization of any kind,” said Tudi Operations Manager Robert Tudi following the award presentation. . “But our product is much more than HVAC and controls. Without question company culture is what our clients have come to value most.” Winners were announced at an exciting ceremony attended by over 600 at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts in late September. Companies were evaluated on operational management, community involvement and ethical business practices.
